Yesterday as I was driving home from my internship in Hau'ula, I decided that I wanted to take some honu pictures. So after setting up my housing and jumping in to the water, I was able to track a few down and ask them to pose for me. Some things I did learn from this shoot was that water clarity is a huge must - something I struggled with. My goal is to master underwater portraiture and even do a wedding-esque shoot. As of now, though, turtles will have to do.

This was my first Mormon wedding and unfortunately I didn't bring my whites to get into the chapel. Fortunately, the area outside sanctuary provided a nice and protected area from the strong winds and glaring sun.
