From the back of my viewfinder, the emotions that I see and even experience can be truly remarkable. This past Friday, Chelsi walked down the aisle with her father-in-law, Chuck, to the song 'Marry Me' by Train. I'd like to say that I'm the guy who never tears up at soppy 'chick flics' or when I hear the song "I'll Follow You" by Jon McLaughlin*, but seeing the emotion between Kirk and Chelsi as they were brought together at the altar was truly momentous. Thank God Chelsi kept it together or there would have been a really good chance I might have missed the whole ceremony! Congratulations Chelsi and Kirk, I couldn't be happier for you both!

Omaha Wedding Photography | Mickayla and Chris Married!

Mickayla and Chris have one of the most fun and unique relationships I've ever had. Mickayla's an absolute goofball with the random, quirky comments she makes. When I first walked into their dressing room, the girls all thought that they had hired another stripper for the wedding day! HA! (Fortunately, Mickayla informed them all that I was their photographer.) That definitely has to be one of the funniest memories I've ever had at a wedding. Filled with laughs, an occasional tear and many adult beverages, this wedding was an absolute blast to be a part of. Congratulations Chris and Mickayla!

Omaha Wedding Photography | Shantell and Scott Married!

Shantell and Scott's beautiful outdoor wedding took place at the Elmwood Towers, an independent senior community in the heart of downtown Omaha. As we began to set up that morning, many of the residents commented on how they never would have imagined they'd see a wedding outside of their window! However, the well-kept flower gardens, the sprawling green lawns and even the little coffee room made for a perfectly picturesque setting. As the sun-peaked through the trees, Shantell walked down the aisle with her father, smiling ear to ear at the handsome stud standing at the end of the aisle. Congratulations on your amazing day, Mr. and Mrs. Hall!

Omaha Wedding Photography | Janelle and Tim Married!

I really can't say enough good things about Janelle and Tim. Over the past few months, I can honestly say that they've truly crossed that boundary between being clients and becoming lifelong friends. Tim is extremely multi-faceted. He loves his smoker (props to Janelle), he commands respect on and off the paintball course, and he has one of the most giving hearts you'll ever find. Janelle also seems to be happy and (hint hint) she gets even happier when you bake her something delicious with chocolate inside... the more the merrier! Their wedding day was an extremely fun gathering of family and friends - and who would have expected the teddy bear toss! Genius! Congratulations Tim and Janelle!!!!!!!
