Sequences

Blue Room

Sequenced shots are definitely my favorites to do. As a surfer, I love to imagine myself traveling down the face of a wave and watching as the lip begins to form and then barrel over the top. As a photographer, It is my way of catching these moments to form them into a continuous, but individual segment of time. Despite many misconceptions, each wave does not become a perfect sequence. For the majority of waves, only one shot out of the sequence is worthy of saving - hence why sequences to me are so special. They represent completed perfection that everyone can both understand and enjoy.

A unique view that I get right before the 'Ouch'

One of my favorite heavies from the West side
